Andre Davies, MD is an ivy league trained physician who is board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. He specializes in adult internal medicine for men and women.
Dr. Davies has extensive experience treating complex conditions that include the management of high blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes. Dr. Davies focuses on preventative health including pre-op exams, annual physicals exams for men and women, diabetes screening, immunizations, cancer screenings, weight loss and nutrition. He also handles chronic disease management of hypertension, thyroid issues, women’s health issues, lipid management and vitamin/nutritional deficiencies. He has extensive training in all areas of Internal Medicine.
In addition, as a fellowship trained Geriatrician, he has thorough experience addressing patients with multiple and/or complex health issues. Dr. Davies has particular interest and training in cognitive evaluations. He is focused on his patient’s mental well-being and he incorporates cognitive assessments and discussion in his care model. As part of this, Dr. Davies’ goal is to help educate patients about ways they can work to maximize their brain function and stave off memory and cognitive decline.
Dr. Davies comes to GCM from a thriving Internal Medicine outpatient clinic at NCH Healthcare Group. In addition to his extensive primary care experience, Dr. Davies has also held the distinguished role of Assistant Medical Director for The Chateau at Moorings Park and he worked as an inpatient hospitalist at the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine. With his education, training and experience, he is among the top providers in our area.
